Dimpleplasty is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that creates natural-looking dimples on the cheeks. The entire procedure is performed through the inside of the mouth — there are no external incisions and no visible scars. A small dissolvable suture connects the inner cheek (buccinator) muscle to the overlying skin, creating a soft depression that becomes a dimple when you smile. Initially the dimple is visible at rest, but within 2–3 weeks it settles to appear naturally only when smiling, just like a born-with dimple. The procedure is quick, performed under local anaesthesia and offers an immediate aesthetic enhancement with very little downtime.
