What is a Breast Lift Surgery?
Breast Lift Surgery or Mastopexy is a procedure that raises the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour.

How is the procedure done?
There are various techniques of performing the surgery. However, the technique used depends on

➞ Breast size and shape

➞ The size and position of your areolas

➞ The degree of breast sagging

➞ Skin quality and elasticity as well as the amount of extra skin

The procedure is done under General Anaethesia. Incisions are made as per the factors given above and the extra skin removed. If the Areola is large, the skin around the periphery of areola is excised to give it a better shape. The Skin is sutured while making sure that the incision lines are well hidden in the normal contours of the breast.

Post Operative care
We will remove the bandages and any drains during your follow-up visit on the first or second day after your breast lift. The nipple's color and blood supply will also be checked to see any changes Within two to three weeks, all your stitches will be removed. The size and shape of the breast will continue to improve as time passes..
